Congratulations!

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Bring Down the Grammar Hammer!

It's letting people get away with egregious violations that give us a populace that just reeks of stupidity because so many people seem to have absolutely no command of their own language! (non-native speakers are excused, but their English is often better than ours anyway)

It's not just me either, there was recently an article in the New York Times about how many new college grads, who are otherwise excellently qualified, often do not get the job they just applied for because of using textspeak when writing the interviewer a thank-you email!
Not to mention all the horrid public occurrences of improper use of apostrophe in the 3rd degree, and felonious quotation marks. I've even seen (and have a photo of) a store whose sign should have read "Discount Rice Beauty and Aids", except that Discount was misspelled in a way that I cannot repeat here.

Again, Bring Down the Grammar Hammer!
And have a great promotion party!

Congratulation sari!

I've always thought of you as if you were an admin.
This fits you as the hand fits the glove. (a "saying" freely translated from Swedish)

Getting paid in chocolate is better than getting paid in peanuts!

Or both is better again! That's what I asked for in my salary negotiations, only to be told Kat and Metallica get all the chocolate, and HFCG and the monkey get all the peanuts.

I'm currently living off :) sandwiches :)

Congratulations Sari, I can't believe this thread is still going. Lady in red, I like it! :)

The penuts are still in the shell.

Yeah, I'm surprised you haven't found something better to talk about as well.

*sari goes back to searching for the chocolate stash.

That's because you don't pay income tax! If you do,the IRS will keep the nut and you end up with just the shell!! So don't COMPLAIN!!!!!!!! :)

Let me break it down for you:

Whole Peanut= Taxable Income
Peanut = Income tax
Shell = What's yours

Since neither Hfcg & the Monkey don't declare their second income,it is clearly "Tax evasion"! And on top of it,he still complains that he has to peel the peanut himself! No wonder the country is going down the drain :)

BTW,Don't get me started on your :) sandwich :)
