Making riddles is hard... I thought I would try a rhyming one this time.

We are different from the others.
You see, we have one and they have two.

So proud, and honoured are their mothers.
We would be punished, if any could move.

Yet sadly, not one of us has the trait.
So we are forced to play, our cruel fate.

So now I ask you: Who are we?

Yep, another piano9playa5 original!
There are clues in the riddle that have to do with wording and not just the lines as a whole. Certain words I have used are hints in themselves...

Ok... This riddle is near impossible so I'll give you the answer......

BHowett wanna post a new one?

Here are the hints highlighted:

We are different from the others.
You see, we have one and they have two.
So proud, and honoured are their mothers.
We would be punished, if any could move.
Yet sadly, not one of us has the trait.
So we are forced to play, our cruel fate.

You see with your eyes. Also in that line is

We have one and they have two.

So it really means "We have one eye and they have two eyes"

If any could move

... So it means that they can't move

forced to play, our cruel fate

... I used the word play, because we use them to play games...

So what can move, has one eye, and are used for games? Playing Cards!

The jack of hearts and jack of spades only have one eye! So there you have it...

Polly Perkins was after a talking parrot, so she went to the local pet shop in the hope of securing such a find. She was in luck. The shop assistant assured her that the parrot would learn and repeat any word or phrase it heard. Polly was delighted. However, a week later, the parrot still hadn't spoken a word. Polly returned to the shop to complain, however, it appeared that the assistant was accurate in what he had said, and refused a refund. Why didn't the parrot talk?

A man rides into town on Tuesday, stays three nights, and rides out on Tuesday. How is this possible?
