Nope sorry ur wrong

My dad, the nationally accredited math teacher says....

*drumroll*

Major Payne is correct.

The sequence S30=1(1-230)/1-2

Simplifies to S30=230-1=1,073,741,824 PENNIES divided by 100 = $10,737,418.23

So there! :)

I will always bow to the knowledge of a nationally accredited math teacher! Especially when they agree with me. :) Kudos to your dad for settling this. :)

"Stopping along the trail to rest, Judy saw that one-third of the rest of the group from the Girl Scouts was behind her and three-fourths were ahead. Not counting Judy, what was the total number in her group?"

Just a guess:

If one-third is behind her and three-fourths is ahead of her than that means that she has more than one full group of girl scouts with her...

13?

It can't be 13 because if 1/3 of the group is behind her that means that there are 4.33 girl scouts behind Judy..
That would be an odd sight... :)

It can if you add Judy and that makes 14. But riddle was to not count her. Fuzzy math always works. :)

I am taken from a mine, and shut up in a wooden case, from which I am never released, and yet I am used by almost everybody.
