Ok. I know for a fact I have a malware infection. I know I need to run something like Malware bytes Anti-malware. But how do I do this when after booting I have no icons, no start bar. I can ctrl-alt-del and bring up the task manager. I have tried running explorer.exe from it but it crashes out right away. I also have no windows disk... I do have a hidden partition backup but havent burned the restore disks for pc angel so that's not any help. HELP PLEASE!

EDIT: ok I got Malware bytes to run and it removed 19 infections. I cant get to the internet. I'm gonna go run a hijack this and will post the logfile in the forum later.
Any other advice would be most welcome. Still no icons or taskbar.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.
