what was the CSS error (if you know)? gonna try make the pages strict as im sticking it on my CV. Dont think many employers would be impressed at a software Developer who leaves coding errors on his own pages

Wow! Home page looks very good. Loaded fast and easier to read since text doesn't go full width of browser window using high res. Here's info on the eye scan which relates to web pages: The Best of Eyetrack III. Hope the rest of your pages will follow suit.

One more suggestion. I would lose the centering of lots of text in paragraphs. I like justify usually.

Just one warning for HTML on home page:

Byte-Order Mark found in UTF-8 File.

The Unicode Byte-Order Mark (BOM) in UTF-8 encoded files is known to cause problems for some text editors and older browsers. You may want to consider avoiding its use until it is better supported.

Sometimes validation errors are unavoidable. I have some JavaScripts, which need modifying, but presently work only with no document type. You've done a great job on your home page. Now I need to clean up my own pages. :) Kinda turns out my posts are a "do as I say do, but not as I do" type posts. :)
