Internet losing connection periodically

I run Internet Explorer and it just loses connection periodically especially when you run something big like a TV show. It usually works again if I do a reboot. I tried to replace the modem but it is still doing it.

Does anyone know why it loses connection?

Well what type of internet connection is it? Have you checked with the provider? Have you tried replacing the cable?
