I am rebuilding a Sony Vaio desktop, it has 1 gig of ram, and an AMD Athlon XP processor, i recently resurrected using Windows XP Pro with media center elements, SP3 - i added an AGP Nvidia GE Force 5500 fx Graphics card. Windows found the drivers and then I installed the latest forceware (175.19_geforce_winxp_32bit_english_whql) it did the installation, said would you like to reboot I clicked yes, and when it rebooted it nothing came up on my screen, no bios, no regular sony screen completely black. I could hear it running and going through it's processes but nothing on the screen, I tried each one of the video outs on the graphics card, both monitor and the S-Video and neither of them worked, so I tried pulling the card out and going with the onboard graphics card and not even that would work. i do not know what to do or if there are any solutions. thank you to whomever takes the time to read this and offer suggestions
