Hi!

i was really impressed by this site so i did some reading and messed around...

im new and am completely worthless with the computer...

i recently had som viruses (thank god i had McAfee on access scan) and got them blocked....

however.. mcafee wasnt able to completely remove the viruses...

in fact i did a full scan of my hard disks and mcafee did not find any viruses,...

however there are pop-up warnings from mcafee saying it found and deleted a virus...

this kept popping up every few minute or so...

i tried the malware removal tool and things worked out well..

until i opened my hard disks....

it always says "resycled\boot.com is not a valid win32 application"

when i right click and press open...

it says "D:\ is not a valid win32 application"

i really dont know what is wrong with my computer this time...

i posted it here since those with knowledge bout hard disks might know something about probable hidden files and stopping the auto play function...

im completely lost...

feel free to move this topic if you please... need help! thanks....
