Windows Media Center Won't Run

I don't use media center too much, but I have a ton of pics and videos in it and whenever I try to open it up I get this message...

ehshell.exe - Strong name validation failed.

Strong name validation failed for assembly 'C:\WINDOWS\ehome\ehshell.exe' The file may have been tampered with or it was partially signed but not fully signed with the correct private key.

I've looked online for possible fixes to the problem, but didn't really come up with anything that I fully understood. I don't want to start tampering with files and wind up destroying something. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
