Hi. BTW, thanks to the people who helped me with my *ahem* adult problems.

I haven't purchased an iPod yet, but I plan to do so within the next week - and I live in the UK and I'm not sure if they work differently to American iPods.

Most of my songs are .wma files, which due to tension between Microsoft and Apple, are not playable on iPods. Is there a program that is free to download/cheap to purchase that would transfer .wmas into .mp3s or other iPod-compatible files?

Also, is the iPod able to transfer songs from a PC using Windows 98? Thanks!
