I have a problem with my older IBM 365X Thinkpad CD-ROM Drive.After installing it, i am recieveing two error messages in the begining of Windows(98).
Those are : Drive Not Found / TDPC001 NOT Found-

I Need Your Help !!! :tazz:

is this a new cdrom that does not work?
did a previous cdrom work?

My HDD needed to be formatted two weeks ago and i did it, before format it was working properly. After formatting i setup WIN98 in a compaq Laptop.

so the win98 installation was a success, except for the cdrom which had worked before?
what devices are listed under cdrom in device manager?

start>settings>control panel>system>device manager>+ next to CDROM

are there any yellow "!" or red "x"?

I dont have, i asked for cd-rom driver from IBM Co. They send me an .exe file.I installed it but as i said at the begining, i received error messages

it sounds like it's not the right driver. what is the name of the exe file?

that looks like it's for windows 3.1. time to search for a win98 driver.
