Recently upgraded my computer to Vista etc etc etc.....completely new build.

I tried installing COD 2 and it always hangs on the 2nd disc. I went to activisions site and they claimed that it was the flash player causing this. I disabled autorun on the drive to prevent the splash screen but it still hangs.

I deleted all the temp files. Still hangs.

The disc is not damaged.

Activision claims that is I reduce the speed of my DVD drive that may help. It sounds like a pain in the butt.

Is there an easier fix to this?

have you tried coping the install cd's to your hard drive and run the install from there?
