Does anybody have any recomendations for some solid SMTP hosting software? I have a small business with a static IP address and a Windows 2003 domain server that would like to cut out the middle man and send out their bulk emails using an in house SMTP server. I am seeing a few things that look like they might work at Downloads.com but I have never tried this before and am unsure. Thanks in advance.

well...for windows Exchange is the easiest to use/setup and very robust...

if you're looking for free...check into postfix or squirelmail or...heck any linux mail servers....you can find some that run under windows...though it would be just as easy (if not easier) to run one of these packages on a linux Virtual Appliance in VMWare server (also free)
