ipod Nano is frozen

Ok,my sister got an ipod nano a couple of days ago and it froze on her and itunes won't open either,it only opens when I disconnect the ipod from the computer and when it opens I connect the ipod again and itunes freezes on me,any way how I can unfreeze my sisters ipod nano?

Does it not turn on or anything? This is a common problem with iPods - it happens to mine periodically. First, switch the standby button on (there should be orange showing to indicate this), then switch it off again. Then try holding down the center button and the Play part of the wheel at the same time. See if that works.
