How can I get rid of the message igfxpers.exe end now at shutdown?
I am using a gateway laptop with windows xp. No other problems up to that point.
The message first appeared several days back when I was trying to speed up the boot process by removing active programs from the system tray. I don't remember all the things I removed.
I can't do a system restore because the next day Verizon helped me make changes to the browser and email software. I don't know how to redo that they did.
Thanks.

igfxpers.exe is unnecessary startup.
Go to msconfig, and uncheck it.
