Is it possible to keep the AVG 7.5 file that was downloaded and remove only the AVG program that was installed on my computer?

I want to keep AVG to be used for another time. I've read where AVAST is only good for one year. Also, I don't think AVG has 7.5 anymore.

If this can be done, please provide the steps involved.

Thanks

You can keep the installation file if you wish, though since AVG 8 is available its kind of pointless. But yes, you can do that. Avast Free is free initially for 60 days, then you register, then after a year just re-register.
