Can't access Windows Update (Redirected to MSN.COM)

I tried everything,
read thru tons of forums, tried downloading adaware, spyware doctor, etc. nothing helps.
I formated Drive C: rinstalled windows and stil geting redirected to msn.com
This is driving me nuts. Please help
