Also can you please reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):

C:\Program Files\DIGStream\digstream.exe <--- spyware!
C:\Program Files\Open Site\opensite.exe <--- Adware!

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log, and let us know how your system's working.

I couldn't find 3 of the things you told me to fix. I also couldn't find the digstream.exe file. Also, while looking at my add/delete programs, I saw a program called WildTangent. Their website is for gaming & I don't recall downloading this program. Am I correct in what this is, and is it safe to remove it from my computer? Some of the spyware programs I've been trying out say it's spyware. Is this true? Thanks for all your help guys! BTW, I learned about this site from Laptop Boy who is a tropical fish friend on the forums. You came highly recommended, and I'm glad I took his advice and registered!

How do you prevent spyware from being installed again? We strongly recommend installing SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use).

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Consumes no system resources.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. If you have any errors running the program like a missing file see the link at the bottom of the javacool page.

It's also very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks. Click Here to make sure that you have the latest patches for Windows.

It's okay to delete the Hijack This folder if everything is working okay.

After doing all these, your system will be thoroughly protected from future threats.

Id do suggest you uninstall SpywareBeGone through the control panel. It's not helping anything. If you want to do weekly scans for spyware, we strongly recommend Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D.

Thank you so much Nathan, Ntd, and ditto. You guys are the best. I also took your advice and uninstalled the Spywarebegone. When I went to add and/or remove programs though, it still shows a version of it, but when I try and delete it I get an error message "could not load initializatin file". It also does not show a size to the right for the program. Is this okay?

I also have one more question. Since you all did such a great job helping me with this problem, could one of you help me with this?
