A friend of mine as just bought a MAC with built in web cam. Is there anyway he can use Live Messenger on it so he can use the camera? Or is there another application that will allow him to video conference

He will be able to chat with his msn friends using something like pidgin: http://www.pidgin.im/. The Microsoft client will only work on Microsoft Operating Systems.

For video conferencing I know of two that are MAC compatible:

Yahoo: http://messenger.yahoo.com/mac/

Skype: http://www.skype.com/

Thanks you very much for your reply. I have sent it on to him and will let you know the outcome. I presume that he will be able to enter his hotmail addy onto either and his contacts
