A friend recommended me some software which was great and save. But the software was not compatible with my Windows Vista 32-bit. I tried the control panel to uninstall it, the program wasn't there. But its on my desktop how can I get to rid of it. These are the Programs:
ATF Cleaner (Temp File Cleaner)
Dr.Web Cureit ( All around Malware Scanner & Remover)
Also can you also recommend me some programs are compatible in which are similar to these. Please Help......

Hello,
I do not know about Dr.Web Cureit, I would Ask one of our malware experts about this. (I have never heard of it)
ATF cleaner IS compatable with Vista.
What has happened is that you saved the download to your desktop, so the program has not been installed.
Open ATF cleaner (from the icon on your desktop) so that it can install.
I would ask about this other program before installing it.

Dr.Web CureIt! is an excellent, standalone, on-demand antimalware scanner, and it's compatible with Vista: http://www.freedrweb.../cureit/?lng=en
Don't confuse it with Dr.Web Anti-virus, which is regular AV program.

All you should need to do is delete the .exe files for each of the programs

They don't actually install themselves on your PC

And this is why I suggested asking a malware expert.
