I have a disc that someone gave me that started off as a blu ray and I ripped it to my pc (10gig file).

I get video lag....I am wondering if is a hardware problem or software issue(codecs)

I have a 9800gt and pent 4 3.0HT 2gigs ram 20inch monitor

Is my cpu hindering this which cause video lag...or am i overlooking something else.

I use media player classic, and when i look in task manager/processes ...it list 80-90 cpu useage for media player classic?

Overall ,will a new processor help or can I do soemthing else to save money?

well...it's pretty safe to assume that if someone gave you a Blue-Ray disk that it's not home movies...which means that it was a commercially supplied movie...which means the copying of that movie is considered piracy.

We here at GeeksToGo will not assist you with issues relating to copied, pirated, cracked or in any other way, stolen programs, movies, music or any other media. It is a direct violation of our TOS (Terms Of Service) to offer any assistance in this matter.
