hi all,

i have a compaq proliant server. in device manager there is yellow mark on PCI Memory controller ' what is it. although server is functioning fine. but i need to install the driver.

It's possibly a PCI card in one of the PCI slots inside the system case that's not being used - may be a dial-up modem (which windows is known to mis-identify sometimes when the driver is missing). If, as you say, the machine is working fine it evidently must be something not in use. Pointless installing a driver for something you don't need. Take out the redundant PCI card and that should remove the item from Device Manager.
