a blue screen keeps flashing for a few seconds then it reboots my computer, please can someone tell me how to fix it! do i have to erase all my applications on my laptop?

this is what it says on the blue screen! (below)

It seems like your Wireless LAN adapter has crashes your system.

Bug Check 0xD7: DRIVER_UNMAPPING_INVALID_VIEW
The DRIVER_UNMAPPING_INVALID_VIEW bug check has a value of 0x000000D7. This indicates a driver is trying to unmap an address that was not mapped.

I am not sure how it crash and why it crash,
but you might try to boot in safe mode and backup all your important file.

ok i've backed my files ....what do i do now?

How did you back up your data, since your computer keeps restarting?
Does same thing happen in Safe Mode?

i backed up all my files before in normal mode.
i turned off the automatic restart check box under startup and recovery.
i was able to copy my files in time.
i can't even access safe mode. it goes to a black screen with alot of white writing saying

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\iapnp.sys.....etc
on repeat

You may have couple of issues.
Firstly, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error happens, in most cases, when you deal with overheating, or bad RAM.
You may test RAM with memtest, first: http://www.techspot....topic62524.html

It looks also, like you have problems with some system files.
Do you have Vista DVD?

ok i did memtest86 with 8 passes and no errors.
i also rechecked the stop error information and i realized i typed the wrong technical information, it actually says

does that mean i still run windows repair?

you need to update or remove this after having found out what it's for.

If you Google for W29n51.sys you should find your answer and downloads of version of the file that don't cause overflows.

do you think you can help me through this. i'm a real beginner when it comes to computers and i read through the warnings and i don't get most of the things it's saying. what do i actually have to do? i don't even know if i have a windows XP cd because it came installed onto the laptop.
i'm very lost, plz help

Do you have Vista DVD, or Recovery CD?
