My desktop PC is running very slowly.

I have a centrino processor i think its 1.7 and i have 512 of RAM

I have done checks and these two are running perfectly

I have recently had a motherboard because the transistors of the previous ones had leaked.

The PC takes a long time to respond whenever opening folders or internet browsers. I have no idea what to do.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I'm surprised, that Vista with 512MB of RAM even starts (<---exaggerating).
You need 2GB of RAM for Vista to run smoothly.
