Hey, everyone.

Here's my HijackThis logfile. I have ran Spybot, Adaware, HouseCall, and Panda on this, and they each detect something, but none of them permanently get rid of it. Thanks for any assistance, I appreciate it.

You are running HijackThis from the Desktop; please create a new folder for it and move the program into the new folder

Click here to download CWShredder v2.14 and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. Reboot when done.

Make sure that you have no browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\qxldt.dll/sp.html#37049
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\qxldt.dll/sp.html#37049
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = res://C:\WINDOWS\qxldt.dll/sp.html#37049
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = res://C:\WINDOWS\qxldt.dll/sp.html#37049
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = res://C:\WINDOWS\qxldt.dll/sp.html#37049
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = res://C:\WINDOWS\qxldt.dll/sp.html#37049
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {B764800B-F1F8-8788-4C16-55E92C3AB819} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\addcm.dll
O16 - DPF: {15AD6789-CDB4-47E1-A9DA-992EE8E6BAD6} - http://media.license...bridge-c424.cab

Exit HijackThis when done. Reboot, rescan with HijackThis and post a new log here.

Well, Daemon, thanks for the response, but I didn't get the chance last night to post that a quick install of Ewido with a scan cleared everything up very nicely. Installed Ewido, updated, restarted, did a full scan, a quick run with HJT to remove some browser hijacks, restarted again, and everything's golden now. 100% gone.

Moderator-type person, feel free to close the topic. Thanks again, everyone.

Glad you sorted it out :tazz:

To help keep you clean follow the recommendations in Tony's article here:

So how did I get infected in the first place?
