i'm getting the message CPU FAN Error, the fan is 100% connected the right away, the fan is working fine, the only thing i could think of that is causing this because the fan is a 3pin and on the mobo its a 4pin connector, any ideas ?

This error is typically caused because the system's been set up to complain if the fan isn't spinning fast enough. It may also be caused by the CPU fan running off any other three pin socket other than the one marked CPU fan.
The pin variation is irrelevant. 3 pin fans work on 4 pins.
Such notification options can be toggled in the BIOS typically under PC Health or equivalent.
