There seems to be new stain of malware around. It won't let you start any virus of malware scanner. It won't let you go to a site that has a scan, You can download a program on another PC and change the name, and then you can install it on the infected PC, but once installed it will not run because it is recognized as a malware or virus program. Nothing will work in safe mode, antivirus programs cannot update. The only program I was able to run was Hijackthis but I don't see anything suspicious in it. Has anyone another Idea. Thanks Picky
