Vista does not seem to support virtual parallel ports.
The XP way of doing it would be this, from a poster on another forum somewhere:
- share out the printer you want to use
- open up a command prompt and type "net use lpt1: \\yourcomputername\printersharename", replacing as appropriate.
- now add a new printer with the same driver as the one you just shared out and tell it to use LPT1
However this doesn't work under Vista, not even with admin rights. Third party software is available, though whether its any good to you is another matter as its not cheap.
Have you got a link to your HASP key emulator please? that tells us more about it?
