i have been playing counter strike for 4 months with a ping of like 50 now all the sudden i have a ping of 80, its still the same server wats going on. can some one help me plez

from 50 to 80... thats not bad at all. if your on cable it could be because more people have signed up to get cable in your area. it could be that there are more hops from you to them. It could be they are running more stuff on that segment of the network where the server is hosted and it is causing issues.

you can go into a command prompt (dos) windows and type in "tracert x.x.x." where the x.x.x.x is the ip of your server.
