Recently been infected with Trojan-Spy.HTML.smitfraud.c . Having followed advise to other users on here I have got the system back up and running and have my display properties back again. However, I am still getting the warning triangle in the bottom toolbar informing me I am infected.
I have scanned with Adware, CWS Shredder, Spybot, Spy Sweeper and Pest Patrol with no joy. Ran the Panda on line scan, found a few more unsavouries which I removed with Kill Box.
Trouble is I am still trouble with :-
Adware: Adware/BlueScreenWarning in the Windows Registry and,
Virus:Eicar.mod in C:\ProgramFles\PestPatrol\Help.chm[HowCanITestDetection.html]
Any clues on what to do??
