Hello,

There was a breif lapse in my virus protection, and now my PC seems to be infected. I do not want to wipeout the hard drive, I would greatly appreciate help removing this infection. I am running Windows XP sp2.

Here is the problem: The PC reboots about 1 minute after XP starts and will continue this cycle until the PC is shutdown. I have started in safe mode and was able to veiw an error log page that lists the following:
( Stop: 0x0000008E ( 0x0000005, 0xAD14FB75, 0xA98C87E8, 0x00000000 ) I have tried running agv antivirus and spybot in safe mode, but this does not fix the problem. Any suggestions?

Thanks
