New notebook, new netgear router can't hookup

Hello,

I just bought a new laptop and a new Netgear wireless-N router. I put the installation disk in and it's almost complete then i get a IP Address Error message. Can you please help me make this wireless connection?

Hi

Are you able to connect to the router using a network cable instead of wirelessly? If so, can you also connect to the Internet this way? Quick tip - don't bother with the installation CD for now - it's rarely necessary to use them especially for wired connections.
