Howcome I can't enter the GeeksToGo Live Chat?

I think I might have gotten banned for something my little brother said inside the chat room. My little brother may have said some vulgar things in the chat room while I was away from my computer. If this is the case, is there some way I could get unbanned? Otherwise, could someone please tell me why I cannot enter the chat room?

You are responsible for what happens on your computer. Even if it was your brother who typed inappropriate things in our channel, it's still your machine, and your connection. I haven't seen the log of what happened, so I won't remove the ban. we've let the people who set the ban know about this thread, and they can make a decision based on that.

Please understand that I will back their decision 100%. If whatever it was that happened warrants a permanent ban, I won't remove it. If they feel it's been long enough, we will allow you to come back.

I've spoken with several of the channel ops, and read the logs. What was said using your nickname was actually something that should have gotten you banned from the whole IRC network, not just one channel. It was extremely rude and vulgar, and included hate speech.

The ban will not be lifted at this time. We cannot risk that happening again.
