I have had a TDK 5200B for about 6 years now. I just built a new computer recently and and put the tdk in the new computer, and i think it just died...unless someone knows whats wrong with it or I should just get a new one.

The drive doesn't recognize a any cd when i put it in. It always says there is no disc. So, if anyone would know what could be wrong with it please let me know.

I was thinking about just buying a new drive. Since this one is old. So, what would be the best drive to get for under $100 or so??
