Hi,

All of a sudden my laptop no longer connects to the internet via the wirelessly, although it still works when directly connected via the ethernet cable to the Belkin wireless router. I still get a very strong signal from the router and the wireless connection is listed as being connected.

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite M70 -CL1 and is about 22 months old.

I've ran the windows networks diagnostics the result of which is shown below. Any suggestions anyone has would be much appreciated.

I just discovered this site in trying to help with this problem, so if I'm missing something obvious - my apologies in advance.

Thanks in Advance

Alan

Hi! I am having the same problem, all of the sudden wireless not working but connecting via ethernet cable. I've talked with Linksys support (router) and Cox (modem) who suggested just going the ethernet cable way until i could figure out why my wireless connection isn't working. Could it be my wireless card inside my laptop?

Also, i travel back and forth quite a bit and connect to another wireless network, but that one is okay.

Can someone PLEASE help with a possible solution??

Many thanks :)

Hi joseph121 and welcome to our forums.

Its good to see  that you are offering advice on the forums here, but just a word to the wise.....do check the age of the topic and the dates of the posts.... as you are posting potential solutions to topics that are 7 or 8 years old.....

Don't be disheartened though, but do check the dates!
