The important thing is to buy the right card for your motherboard. The Asus P5L1394 motherboard has a PCI -express slot, so be sure to buy that type of video card. Basically, the card will come with a driver CD. Depending on the make, its installation process is pretty simple. Just open the case, remove the old and put in the new, (there is a small locking mechanism on the PCI-Exp slot. Make sure you've released the locking mechanism before using a crowbar to try remove the existing card. Don't forget to lock your new card in as well). As long as your DVD or CD drive works, you just install the drivers once the card is installed.

Good luck..

Hi there,

Looking around some Australian websites, in the ~$120 range with PCI-Express connection, I found the ATI 4670 fit in that price bracket. This would probably be one of the better choices to fit your budget.

Cheers

Troy

P.S. Don't use a crowbar to get the existing card out! :)
