Hi

Im experiencing a really weird problem

My mouse buttons freeze, I can move the cursor but I cannot click on anything and the only way to reolve it is to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up task manager, then by clicking processes, then applications can I use the mouse buttons

Weird eh?

Hello,
Sounds like you need to update the mouse driver.
  • Open your control panel.
  • Open system.
  • Select hardware.
  • Select device manager.
  • Right click on pointing device (may say mouse)
  • Select properties.
  • Select update driver.

Ok done that and the issue still exists

O.K., now we swap out the mouse for a known good mouse to see if it is a failed hardware issue.
