user accounts in Xp

For some reason I can not open the user accounts. When I click on the icpn I get the hour glass but nothing happens.

have you tried starting up in safe mode?
i have had something like ur problem but when i tried to logon, there was no username to choose from! Do you have miranda IM? there is a setting in there which deletes all the acounts. hopethis helped. :tazz:
