PC to TV cable question

I am simply trying to connect my Dell C-600 laptop
to the TV, making the TV like a second monitor.
I have the USB connector on Laptop and the three
RCA connectors back of TV.

Is it just a cable or do I need software or another
component to be able to do this.

Many thanks for any help.

According to the specs of the C600, the laptop has a S-Video output port. All you need is an S-video cable. If you purchased this laptop from Dell, the cable should have came in the box.
