I think I may have a root kit according to my research on your site. I have done all the steps in your guide (i.e. removed temp files, ran Adaware, ran, Spybot, ran Macafee, ran Malbyes, etc.) with no success.

Here's the exact problem.... when I go to yahoo main page and click on a news article I get a Security Warning saying "A current Webpage is trying to open a site on the Internet"........current site: ad.yieldmanager.com Internetsite: c:\windows\system32\xpsp3res.dll.

Please guide me on how to get rid of this. Question, what is the level of security risk does this pose?

I have attached a hikackthis scan file as per your instructions. Thx...
