USB Opticak Mouse Problem

I am just messed :) :) up with the usb mouse i have tried two mouse both of them worked for a minute or two and then stopped working when unplugged and connected again windows "XP and Vista both" gave error as "USB Device not recognized" and other USB devices are working i am facing this problem from last 2-3 week

Please help me out.............. :) :) :wave: :help: :)

Why are you unplugging them?
Whilst USB devices are "hot pluggable", in practice a USB mouse can upset some Windows installations when unplugged whilst Windows is running. Usually plugging it back in and restarting Windows will restore the mouse. Shouldn't be necessary but Windows is a fickle beast.
