DVD drive stopped reading DVD's

My DVD drive has stopped reading DVD's . It can only write DVD's now. when i try to brows DVD's through Mycomputer it shows nothing in the DVD drive ...just an empty drive.when i put dvd in drive LED blinks for some time then stops. Please help me in making my DVD drive read my DVD's. I am running windows XP professional SP2, 128 MB Ram, two Drives one LG's cd-RW drive and one LG's DVD-RW drive however DVD drive never read cd's till now . It only read DVD but now completely stopped reading DVD's too.
