My post> how to remove/replace IE 8 the advice> simply go to add/remove programs i am almost postive this is wrong answer i found another post wher the advice had been followed- they ended up with white blank screen unable to correct

This post makes no sense. Are you saying someone gave you advice that didn't work? A link to the post in question would be helpful. Otherwise, your post is meaningless
