I have recently upgraded to iTunes 8.0 and am now unable to connect to the iTunes store. I have run the diagnostics (network connectivity tests) and the test for "Secure link to iTunes store failed." I clicked on the help button and attempted to clear my DNS cache manually and received the message: "Could not flush the DNS Resolver Cache: Function failed during execution." At this point I am not sure what else to do. The iTunes completed diagnostic shows the following:

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
Dell Computer Corporation Inspiron 1150
iTunes 8.0.2.20
QuickTime 7.5.5
FairPlay 1.1.11
CD Driver 2.0.7.5
CD Driver DLL 2.1.1.1
Apple Mobile Device 2.1.2.7
Bonjour 1.0.5.11 (118.5)

iTunes Serial Number 78B9B2C056410E77

The current local date and time is 2008-12-07 15:35:21.
iTunes is not running in safe mode.
