My password for my e-mail account on Outlook Express 6 keeps disappearing everytime I open up the program to check e-mail. I have gone to the properties window for my e-mail account several times and checked the "Remember password" box in the servers tab after I type out the password. No matter how many times I do that, when I open up OE6 to check e-mail, a small window pops up asking me to enter my password again (the user name is always there, but not the password).

Any ideas?

Most likely your Identity has developed corruption.
Try creating a New Identity in OE.
File>Identities>Add new Identity.
Name it something different from the original so you can tell easily which Identity is which.
Switch to the new Identity.
Set up your account using the Internet Account Wizard.
If your password is remembered in the New Identity and everything works properly (sending and receiving), then you can Import your Address Book and Mail from the Old Identity.
