type32 Questions

I play counter-strike and I have recently discovered that the type32.exe that runs in the background for microsoft keyboards is causing my mouse and keyboard input to lag. At this point I have disabled it so I can play, but I would still like to be able to use my multimedia keys in game without the lagging. Does anyone know of a fix for this type32 bug or any way around it so that I can use my MM keys and still play?
