I started my laptop computer today and it won't go into windows. After the bios, it goes into a black screen with a blinking cursor in the upper left. It does seem to read the boot information from the drive. It does make any noise. I took the drive out and test it with a external enclosure in another compuetre and everything is there. I am making a backup as we speak.

I got another drive with fresh windows in it and I got not problem reading it and booting up. I still want to work from the other drive since I have all my programs and info in it.

By the way, same problem happened before...around three months ago. I tried many ways to bootup but I gave up and I ended formatting and reinstalling fersh copy of windows...but I lossed everything.

That resolved the problem...until now that it happened again. Is there a process to rebuild the boot information? or repaired?
