Printers Problems

I have an HP photosmart 3180, and am running Vista. It was difficult to install the printer, as 'Vista doesn't
support this printer' and I had to download the driver. It had been running ok on my previous pc with XP.

It works OK most of the time, but if I have multiple pages to print - say 20- it will print about 50% of the pages
then print half a page then stop!

Any ideas please...................or failing that any suggestions regarding the best buy on an 'all in one'
with Vista compatability.
