problems installing fifa and nfs

i tried to install fifa and nfs porche
but after installation, a message box appers when i click the icon to start the game which says-

"the instruction at"0*0041890" referenced memory at "00*00000000". The memory could not be written".

is this a problem with my os, or anything wrong with the games insatallation.

i'll be gr8full if someone can help me out.........
