I hate when people read over my shoulder at the tabs I have open. Is there any way to tweak either browser to not display the site information on the tab?

For Firefox, add this to your UserChrome.css,
/* Hides text on opened tabs */
.tabbrowser-tabs .tab-text {
  display: none !important;
}

The first one. At least it gives it generic names that no one cares about!
